My most popular style of pet portrait – these colour pencil drawings make your pet come to life on the page!
My colour pencil pet portraits are by far my most popular type of pet portrait to be commissioned. Each drawing can take anywhere from 20 hours to over 70 hours to complete; dependent on size. I strive to capture your pet’s likeness on the page and commemorate them in pencil and paper using materials that are designed to last a lifetime. I use a combination of Caran d’Ache luminance pencil range and Faber Castell polychromos pencil range (both are of the highest lightfast rating so colours will not fade) on Fabriano Artistico Acquerello Watercolour paper in 300gsm.
Each portrait comes beautifully gift wrapped and carefully packaged to ensure its safe arrival. I also include a certificate of authenticity and artwork care guide to help you ensure your drawing lasts for many years to come. Postage to the U.K is free. If you are from another country please let me know so I can calculate shipping costs for you.
I offer a mounting service for some portrait sizes at an additional cost of £20. Please let me know if you would like this with your pet portrait.
Size & Pricing
I offer my custom pencil pet portraits in a range of standard sizes. With larger sizes I am able to draw multiple pets in the same portrait. If you have a different size in mind that’s not listed please just send a message my way and I will see if it’s possible.
To secure your booking I ask for 25% of the portrait’s price to be paid as a deposit. I will also need a good quality photo (or photos!) of the pet you want to be drawn that captures their personality and gorgeous eyes.
